Dr. Sam Nassif is a professor of Management and teaches Leadership at the Executive and Master level. He is member of the “Strategic Council for Attractiveness” of the Princely Government of Monaco.

Dr. Nassif is a former Provost and Dean of the American-European University in Monaco (1993 – 2001), and President of the “Centre for Research and Development” in Monaco (1996 – 2000). He also has directed more than 100 theses and chaired panels for 200 theses.

Prior to being in academics, Dr. Nassif has had some 20 years experience as General Manager in the field of large construction projects. By working in the United Kingdom, France, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, and Monaco he has benefited from exposure to broad international culture.

After completing his engineering studies at the “St Joseph University – Ecole Centrale de Lyon”, Dr. Nassif went to obtain a Master of Science at the “American University of Beirut” before finalizing his Ph.D. at the “University of Salford” in the U.K.

In 2003, Dr. Nassif joined the I.C.F. (International Coach Federation) and earned a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential. He is a graduate of the International Coach Academy (I.C.A.). His field of expertise is training and coaching executives and leaders.

Wim Bastiaens has over 18 years of international management experience in leading Fortune 100 companies including Shell, AB Inbev and IBM.

His mix of industry experience enables him today to help clients develop and implement strategic projects that build market leadership, drive growth and financial performance. He is primarily consulting for larger corporations in various sectors and industries.

Mr. Bastiaens started his career in sales at Hilton International in 1994 and rapidly stepped into marketing management at Royal Dutch Shell. Here he became Marketing Manager for Shell France and the Benelux countries, winning an executive Vice-President award for a new segment market strategy, which significantly improved business results at low cost-to-serve. Later-on he is appointed Brand Manager for Shell Brands International in Switzerland, working on corporate positioning, brand licensing schemes and strategic partnerships. In addition he led projects in streamlining global business processes reducing overall OPEX with $ 2 billion.

Early 2005 Mr. Bastiaens joined AB Inbev, the world’s largest beer brewer, as Director Global Research and Insights. Created as a new, worldwide department he built global capabilities and connected market insights with brand strategy and business planning.

Mid 2008 he took-on the next challenge as Territory Marketing Leader for the Benelux countries at IBM, exploring new grounds by working-out a global pilot to unlock the $ 7.2 billion services opportunity in the SME segment.

Wim Bastiaens is a Belgian citizen, received a Master in Communication Sciences from Ghent University (Belgium) and studied Marketing- and Business Management at the Vlerick Business School (Belgium) and IMD (Switzerland).

Early experience in brand marketing led to profound fascination for how strong brands steer business results and deliver shareholder value.

Franco Quillico received an MS Summa Cum Laude in electrical engineering from the Polytechnic of Milan, in 1979. In 1984 he graduated with a Master in Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, where he was awarded the Beta Gamma Sigma Scholarship Award for achieving the highest academic performance in the M.B.A. class.

After an experience in industry, his professional career has been in strategy consulting, with McKinsey and Bain, and in investment banking, with Salomon Brothers.

Mr. Quillico has advised clients in various industries: oil & gas, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, packaging, banking, information services, construction materials, railroad, utilities, constructions, retail, real estate and fast food. He has also delivered Workshops for managers and entrepreneurs in several countries: United States, Australia, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Spain, Germany, Greece, Finland, Russia, Czech Republic, Croatia, Ukraine, Mongolia, Algeria, Jordan, Kenya, Malaysia, Taiwan, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Mr. Quillico is Professor of Mergers & Acquisitions at the International University of Monaco (where, in June 2006, he received the “IUM Outreach Award” for excellence in teaching which was presented to him by Prince Albert II of Monaco); Professor of Finance and Strategy at MIP, the School of Management of the Polytechnic of Milan; visiting lecturer at the Wharton School. In February 2011, together with his colleague Gregory Moscato, he has won the 21st European Case Clearing House (ECCH) Case Award in the category “New Case Writers” for the case “Tango vs. Victor”.
